A day off. What's that?
I’m back. I took yesterday off. Actually, I didn’t realize I took the day off house work since my brain was working just as furiously, I just didn’t blog any entries.
Things are moving along. We received our second round of plans and are getting closer to getting things underway. I met a few more GC’s, roofer, designer and electrician. To tell you the truth, I have no idea who I will pick or who is better/worse. I will have to go with my gut once we get some real bids back.
I think I’m closing in on the window issue. Front and side windows will be refinished and rear windows will be replaced (probably with vinyl). Bathroom windows will be replaced, since I want them new and easy to open. The old ones will be unstuck, from the outside. And all of this is pending the Title 24 report. Hopefully giving us some energy efficiency answers.
